Claims Examiner I

Responsibilities:

  • The Claims Examiner is responsible for processing batches of claims (HCFA and UB) data entered by Pre-Key staff in a timely and consistent manner. Adjudicate claims at a rate equal to 150 per normal work day. Maintain statistical accuracy of 98%, and financial accuracy of 98%. 
  • Correct DoD error report as needed. Respond timely to all Customer Service, Provider Relations type questions.Other duties as assigned by management. Collaborate with and maintain open communication with all departments within Health to ensure effective and efficient workflow and facilitate completion of tasks/goals. 
  • Follow Guidelines related to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), designed to prevent or detect unauthorized disclosure of Protected Health Information (PHI)

Field Support Rep

Responsibilities:

  • Candidate will be required to use the vehicle to deliver the paper. They will be paid for mileage driven during the shift. The day to day will be distributing paper throughout campus and off-campus areas. 

 

Requirements

  • They will be moving cases of paper. They will also be checking on copiers to make sure that they are up and running and check the status of supplies (paper and toner). They will need to check the quality of the copier printouts. Reporting accuracy of supplies and status of equipment to site supervisor. Requires valid, violation-free driver’s license along with reliable transportation and minimum levels of auto insurance coverage per policy. 
  • Requires experience in use & operation of shrink-wrap, paper cutter, hole driller, bindery equipment, jogger, tape machine, electric stapler, scales, collators & related equipment. Requires experience with postage meter and equipment. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
